Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong expertise in enterprise data storage technologies (Hitachi, Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, etc.) along with experience managing large-scale security software deployment projects within financial services environments.

The role involves end-to-end management of complex storage infrastructure and security transformation initiatives, including storage migrations, replication setups, multi-datacenter architectures, disaster recovery implementations, and enterprise security solution rollouts. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure technical alignment, and deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget while adhering to strict compliance and security standards applicable to financial organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects focused on enterprise data storage and security software deployments.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute storage migration projects (block, file, object) ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.
• Oversee implementation of storage replication solutions, including synchronous/asynchronous replication, SRDF, TrueCopy, GAD, MetroCluster, etc.
• Manage setup and configuration of two-datacenter (2DC) and three-datacenter (3DC) DR architectures, ensuring resilience and RPO/RTO compliance.
• Drive deployment and implementation of enterprise security solutions such as endpoint security, privileged access management (PAM), SIEM, DLP, IAM, vulnerability management, backup security, and compliance tools within banking/financial environments.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, network, application, and compliance teams for seamless integration of security platforms.
• Ensure adherence to security, audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements relevant to financial institutions.
• Collaborate with storage architects and engineers to design scalable and secure storage infrastructures aligned with business requirements.
• Track project progress using standard PM methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Coordinate testing, validation, cutover planning, security assessments, and post-implementation support activities.
• Identify project risks and dependencies; drive mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Work closely with vendors (Hitachi, Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, cybersecurity vendors, etc.) for hardware/software delivery, support coordination, and escalation management.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders through structured reporting, dashboards, governance reviews, and steering committee meetings.

Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in enterprise data storage and/or security deployment projects.
• Strong domain expertise with storage platforms such as Hitachi VSP, Dell EMC PowerMax/Unity, HPE 3PAR/Primera, NetApp ONTAP, etc.
• Proven experience managing security software deployment projects within banking, BFSI, or financial services organizations.
• Hands-on understanding of storage migration methodologies, replication technologies, DR architectures (2DC/3DC), and enterprise security frameworks.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, RBI guidelines, PCI-DSS, SOC, or related regulatory frameworks is preferred.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and coordinating with global stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, etc.).
• PMP/PRINCE2/Agile certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication, vendor management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
